Welcome to Play to Learn PreSchool at Suwanee Sports Academy! We are thrilled you are considering our program for the 2012 - 2013 school year. In some ways, Play to Learn is similar to other PreSchool programs in our area - certified teachers, state approved & nationally accredited curriculum and low student-to-teacher ratios are a few things that come to mind. In other ways, Play to Learn is very different from any other PreSchool you will find anywhere. If you are a parent who wants a well-rounded learning experience that prepares your child for future classrooms and at the same time offers an environment where learning and development can go far beyond the classroom without ever leaving the PreSchool facility, this is the place for you.

Our Philosophy
We believe childhood is sacred. While preparing our students for elementary school is important, it's equally important to us that your child enjoys his or her time here. We want your child to be excited to come to school everyday, and by focusing on age appropriate activities and engaging environments we believe their excitement will also translate to preparedness.
Teachers are important but parents are key
Learning never stops and the best learning environment starts with a three way partnership between the child, teacher and parent. We invite our parents to engage the learning process as much as they want as we strive to keep parents informed every step of the way. From parent-teacher conferences, to newsletters, to photos and videos of activities taking place, we want you to have a front seat view of your child’s day.
We invite your family to be a part of ours
Play to Learn is small and the intimacy of our school is central in creating a child centered community where you and your child feel at home. We also believe its important to create an environment where you can get to know your child’s teacher as well as the other families who are part of our school.
Our Staff
Teachers have a unique role in a child’s life and their passion for nurturing your child can have an enormous impact. Our staff loves making a difference and we work
hard to support them to ensure our teachers stay that way.
They’re also well trained. Lead teachers have a minimum of a bachelors degree and have completed professional certifications in early childhood education. All teachers are also required to complete annual ongoing professional development programs.
Safety
Safety is our number one priority. We recognize that our facility is not your typical pre-school or day-care (that’s also what makes it great), but we have taken extra steps to make sure it is an environment where parents feel comfortable their child is safe.
All staff members must pass background checks and receive training in First Aid, CPR and Fire Safety.
