Cluster Based Middle School League Feeder Program for High School
In response to
a lack of opportunities for volleyball development for Middle
School girls in Georgia, Suwanee Sports Academy will be holding
the Atlanta Volleyball League this fall during the Georgia High
School Association Volleyball season. The AVL will allow Middle
School students the opportunity to train and compete in the
sport of volleyball with other students that will attend the
same high school.
All training and competition will take place at Suwanee Sports
Academy, which with 11 volleyball courts, is one of the country’s
premier training facilities. All teams will be assigned an experienced
and certified volleyball coach to teach them the fundamentals
of the sport and guide them through their competitive play schedule.
Each team will build their individual skills and techniques
which will lead to confident athletes working together as they
learn team concepts through team play and game situations.

be attending different middle schools may be placed on the same
team if those middle schools feed into the same high school.
Each team will need a volunteer team parent or cluster contact
to help in coordination and communication.
